Condor Prospecting graphite assets are located in the provinces of La Rioja and San Juan, in western Argentina. In the area, flake and microcrystalline graphite have been found.
Flake graphite is found in Sierra de Maz exploration grounds, La Rioja. This place known for hosting the only registered graphite mine in Argentina, and which is owned by Condor Prospecting.
Microcrystalline graphite is found in Sierra de Pie de Palo, San Juan, where an extensive amphibole-graphite metamorphic belt clearly crops out, evidencing thick graphitic schist banks.
Both mountain ranges are highly accessible, and are emplaced near towns where services and resources are available. The exploration of these rocks could be easily performed, as they crop out on the surface, which is an indicator of the areas vast potential to produce the mineral.
