Salta, a province to the northwest of Argentina, has become one of the most attractive mining destinations in the country, as the province is part of the Lithium Triangle. As a result, the province has become pro-mining, and is currently developing copper projects such as Taca Taca, and gold projects such as Lindero.
Condor Prospecting assets are located in the western border of Salta, next to the international border with Chile. The projects location has been strategically selected over the structural trend and metallogenic belt which hosts renowned world-class mines and exploration projects, including Escondida and Zaldivar in Chile.
While the metallic exploration development in the Chilean Andes has evolved over the last decades, the Argentine Andean ground remains underexplored; hosting most of the same geological features as the neighboring country, encouraging explorers with great opportunities for new discoveries in the region.
The potential of the assets located in Salta is related to precious and base metal porphyrys and epithermal deposits.
